It's been a very windy week for BAK, but the tradition of food, fun and bicycles has continued for another year. Deb and I have enjoyed planning this year's ride with the help of many others on the BAK committee. At the start of this week, Deb and I handed out sunflowers to many of the riders. It has been fun to watch these make their way across the state on bike bags, handle bars, and helmets. We have both been busy running from route to route, attending evening meetings, and socializing with the riders. I have learned from my "route jumping" this year, that each route has its own personality and is unique from the other two in several ways. I still feel that BAK is about people first, food second and biking third...it truly is more than just a bike tour. We hope we have been successful in giving some of our participants the "best vacation" they will ever have, and that they will consider returning in the future. Thanks to all the riders, for your encouraging word, and for your support on this year's ride. Chris
