Survey #17--June 16, 2001

Results (148 Respondants)

Thanks to all of you who took the time to answer our online post-ride survey. Your suggestions and critiques have been noted and will be taken into consideration for improvement on future BAK events.

Favorite Towns

Local hospitality was evident everywhere we went, from the overnight stops to the tiny roadside cafes. Many of you said you really liked the outstanding effort the towns of Winfield, Ark City and Sedan made for BAK. Still, the hands down favorite was the city of Oswego, whose friendly hospitality, street dance and shuttle service made us all feel so welcome.

Favorite Day

Many of you told us about your favorite day and cited examples from each route and every part of the state. The overwhelming favorite day was the 77 miles between Sedan and Oswego, where many of you enjoyed the tailwinds and took the opportunity to ride a century. Surprisingly, the runner-up was the previous rainy day riding into Sedan. The cooler weather and rainy adventure was welcomed by a good number of you.

As always, BAK participants reported that making new friendships and renewing old ones was the best part of the adventure.
