Some reasons stated for non attendance:

• When people are in the meeting the phone line is shorter ...
  
• Songs, jokes, skits and comments are often sexist and discriminatory. I can do without that.
• I felt like last years meetings lasted a little long. By 9 o'clock i was ready to head to bed, but i knew the meetings didn't start until 9. By 9:30 i was definitely ready for the meetings to have been long over... I had plenty of time to meet riders while i was on the bike or in town that night before 9.
• the meetings are sort of boring and lame.
• I want to get some rest and I am a loner.
• Too late, past my bedtime!
• They are at 9 PM. I want to be asleep by then. I want to be on the road at 6 am. I want to know abut the next days ride. But, not if I have to stay up till 10 to get the information. Put the next days ride info first and then play games. I would say start the meetings at 8.
