Biking
Across Kansas 2001 is routed near the southern border of the state.The
routes will be on all blacktop roads and terrain will be flat to rolling
hills.
The "B" Route will begin on the Colorado/Kansas border
near Tribune. Overnight stops include Scott City, Jetmore, St. John,
Kingman, Wellington, Sedan, Oswego.
The
"A" Route will begin on the Colorado/Kansas border near
Syracuse. Overnight stops include Garden City, Meade, Coldwater, Anthony,
Arkansas City, Sedan and Oswego.
The
"K" Route will begin on the Colorado/Kansas border near
Elkhart. Overnight stops include Satanta, Dodge City, Pratt, Harper,
Winfield, Sedan and Oswego.
For the first time ever, all Routes will end at the Missouri border
on Historic Route 66 in the Southeastern corner of the state. 2001 marks
the 75th anniversary of Route 66.
